Sochi set up the main city New-Year tree

Holiday New-Year trees have been already set up at the symbolic locations of the resort – for instance, near the marine passenger terminal and the central post office.

Sochi main New-Year tree is also ready to celebrate the New Year of 2013 at the Central Square. This is the location where all major festivities will take place.

This year the city authorities have developed a uniform concept of city decoration. Unusual snowflakes have become the symbols of the main holiday of the year – they contain encoded words.

Sochi snowflakes are based on the photographs of Massaru Emoto, Japanese researcher. He has depicted codes of the following words: «goodness», «peace», «creation», «sun», «health», «beauty», and «luck».
