Ukrainian for the first time became the world champion in chess

27-year-old Ukrainian Anna Ushenina became the first Ukrainian - the world chess champion for women.

The title of Queen of chess grandmaster from Kharkov got in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, winning the match of the four parties representative of Bulgarian Antoaneta Stefanova. Ukrainian received 60 thousand dollars of prize money.
 
Anna Ushenina compared obscure not only the public, but also an experienced chess lovers.
 
Ushenina's best result in the World Championships was an enter to the quarterfinals in 2008, where she lost to a future winner Russian woman Alexandra Kosteniuk.
