60.1 thousand tonnes of grapes have been collected in Crimea this year ; 10% of the amount are table varieties

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of the AR Crimea Valery Kravets announced this at a press conference on November 19.

According to him, currently work on laying orchards and vineyards was going on actively. 400 hectares of vineyards and 70 hectares of orchards had been planted.

Summing up the harvest campaign, the minister noted that Crimean agriculture workers had collected 942.5 ths tonnes of leguminous plants, including 460.5 ths tonnes of wheat, 107.4 ths tonnes of rice, 3.7 ths tonnes of millet, 51.6 ths tonnes of corn, 73.3 ths tonnes of sunflower, 35.1 ths tonnes of soybeans.

Besides, a total of 415 ths tonnes of vegetables will be harvested, and 339 ths tonnes of potatoes.

They have collected 2.3 ths tonnes of drupes, and 58.7 thousand tons of pip fruits. It is expected that the yield of fruit and berry crops will be within the 95 ths tonnes, and grapes up to 70 ths tonnes.
