Tourism remains being the strategic industry in Georgia – Minister

According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Minister of Economy, tourism is still the strategic industry for the country. In his conversation with journalists he has noted that a reorganization of the industry is not excluded yet.

At that, the tourism administration financing in the draft budget for 2013 will be cut down from 11 to 6 million lari. “Reorganization is a usual process. There were some inefficient expenditures that we have cut down, so we will emphasize the most efficient ones”, – the Minister has noted.
