Premier Boyko Borissov will visit the White House in December

Bulgarian Minister of the Interior Tsvetan Tsvetanov discussed in Washington with John Brennan, special counter-terrorism advisor President Obama, the terrorist act at Burgas Airport last summer.

The blast took the lives of five Israeli nationals and a Bulgarian. John Brennan extended the invitation of President Barack Obama to Bulgarian Premier Boyko Borissov to visit the White House in December.

Minister Tsvetanov talked with Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan who voiced his satisfaction with thewith the conducted joint operations of his service and Bulgaria’s chief Directorate for Fighting Organized Crime.

Tsvetanov suggested the organizing of bilateral meetings on the expert level for the exchange of best professional practices between the law imposing and law enforcement bodies of the USA and Bulgaria.
