Russian company to invest into Romanian strategic industries

Delegation of the Russian TISE Company in Bucharest will discuss the issues of participation in investment projects at the territory of Romania, including objects of chemical and oil-refining industries.

This information has been announced by Rodin Traicu, Romanian State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Business Environment.

At that, the State Secretary of the Ministry has noted it may well be so that, in the framework of the forthcoming negotiations, they will also discuss the issue of participation of Russians in the re-privatization of the Romanian largest chemical plant Oltchim in the city of Râmnicu Vâlcea.

The results of the previously conducted privatization auction were annulled due to violation of rules of its conduct. The chemical plant was declared bankrupt due to its debts, amounting to approximately 400 million EURO.
