President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met Defense Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Salamatin

The delegation headed by Dmytro Salamatin, Defense Minister of Ukraine, met with Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, on November 12.

Dmytro Salamatin conveyed greetings from Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, on occasion of the Day of Constitution of Azerbaijan.

«The President of Ukraine spotlights the issue of extension of mutual bilateral relationships with Azerbaijan. Ukraine is interested in further development of bilateral relations between our countries,» underlined Dmytro Salamatin.

«Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations have a long history and our country pays a great attention to their further development», emphasized the President of Azerbaijan.

Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of such top-level mutual visits for bilateral relations development. He expressed hope that the visit of Defense Minister of Ukraine to Azerbaijan would contribute to cooperation between respective structures of both countries.
