South Stream will not use existing Bulgarian gas grid

The track of the South Stream gas pipeline will be entirely newly built and would not be using any part of the already existing gas grid on Bulgarian territory.

This information came from the Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Delian Dobrev on the occasion of the forthcoming signing of the contract for the building of the gas pipeline on Bulgarian territory. Minister Dobrev further said that next week the new price for the supply with Russian gas would become clear. According to him it would be better than the current one.
