Chief of Georgian General Staff detained

Besides Bacho Akhalaya, the police have detained Georgian Chief of General Staff Georgy Kalandadze and Commander of the 4th Bridage Zurab Shamatava.

New Georgian Justice Minister Tea Tsulukiani said that they are accused according to part 3 of article 333 of the Georgian Criminal Code.

Chief Prosecutor Archil Kbilashvili said that they had been charged with beating up six soldiers and insults. They may get 5-8 years of prison.
