Transylvania in top ten places for recreation – «Lonely Planet»

Transylvania – the central Romanian region – entered the top ten winter areas of Europe, recommended for visiting by the tourism expert «Lonely Planet».

Editors of this publication also propose their readers to come to Braşov and Sighişoara, described as «samples of the best medieval Europe cities» in connection with Vlad Ţepeș, being a prototype to Bram Stoker’s «Dracula» novel in 1897. Authors warn tourists that the Irish author himself has never been to Romania, so the trustworthiness of his masterpiece as regards to the tourism objects is called in question.
