Transhipment of export freights through Ukraine’s ports is growing, while imports’ transhipment falls

In January-September, the amount of sea shippings through Ukrainian ports has grown to 113.195 mln tons - up 0.8% compared to the same period last year.

70.668 mln tons (up by 18.2%) were export shippings, import ones comprised 12.382 mln tons (down by 12.4%), transit ones - 28.946 mln tons (down by 20%).

River shippings in the first nine months of 2012 have increased to 4.747 mln tons - up 1.5% compared to the same period in 2011.
