Kazakhstan Dala Group launched liquefied gas transfer terminal in Kerch

Dala Group of companies (Kazakhstan) has commissioned a terminal in Kerch (the Crimea) to transfer the liquefied gas from railway tank cars to the sea transport. This information has been announced by the Crimean Republican Transport and Communications Committee.

“This terminal will provide services on the liquefied gas transfer from railway tank cars for its subsequent transportation by sea vessels to European countries and Turkey”, - the message says.

The terminal consists of a berth to load liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LHG) to gas carrying tankers with the capacity up to 5 thousand tons, to LHG storages with the capacity of 8 thousand cubic meters, the laboratory, the gas mixing station, and the railway infrastructure.

The facility plans to transship up to 1 million tons of liquefied gas a year.

The facility is operated by the private joint-stock company “Asian-European gas terminal” (Kerch).

This private joint-stock company “Asian-European gas terminal” is co-owned by Kazakhstan companies “Dala-Trans” and “Dala Group”.
