Georgian government resigns

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has approved dissolution of government, RIA Novosti reports.

The United National Movement of Saakashvili lost the parliamentary elections on October 1 and got only 67 out of 150 seats of parliament. Georgian Dream of billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili got 83 seats of parliament. Other parties failed to get at least 5% of vote to ended the parliament.

Ivanishvili presented the new Cabinet on Monday. It will be approved by the parliament on October 20-21.
