Most Moldovans dissatisfied with internal situation - poll

As many as 75.1 per cent of participants in a survey believe that things in Moldova are going in a wrong direction.

According to an opinion poll that the Centre of Sociological Surveys and Marketing Investigations (CBS-AXA) made public today, only 18 per cent believe that Moldova is on the right path.

As many as 57.7 per cent of respondents said they were dissatisfied with their living standards. The number of those who are satisfied with their living conditions stands at about 14 per cent. Only 0.8 per cent of respondents said they were very contented with their living standards.

In the context, half of respondents said that now their life is worse than a year ago and 13.6 per cent said they are living better than last year.

The survey «Omnibus: autumn 2012» was conducted among 1,225 people from 90 populated areas on 19-27 September. Its margin of error is 3 per cent.
