Crimean parliament proposes to create Euroregion "Crimea-Kuban"

Crimean Supreme Soviet is willing to study the prospects of creating a Euroregion «Crimea-Kuban» with the Russian Krasnodar Krai.

Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has approved the State programme of cross-border cooperation for 2011-2015, which will be used to channel governmental support of Euroregion projects.

16 provinces of Ukraine currently participate in 10 Euroregions. These cross-border organizations allow to combine regional financial resources in order to implement projects of social and economic development, promote general business activities, as well as stimulate local authorities to attract investment.
