New Georgian Cabinet announced

Billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili’s Georgian Dream has announced the new Cabinet. Ivanishvili has become the Prime Minister, Irakly Alasania has become the Vice Premier and Defense Minister, Kakha Kaladze has become the Second Vice Premier and Minister for Regional Development and Infrastructure.

Irakly Garibashvili has become the Interior Minister, Maya Panjikidze the Foreign Minister, Tea Tsulukiani the Justice Minister, Amiran Gamkrelidze the Healthcare Minister, Guram Odisharia the Minister for Culture and Memorial Protection, Levan Kipiani the Minister for Sports and Youth, David Kirvalidze the Minister for Agriculture, Sozar Subari the Minister for Corrections and Legal Assistance, Kote Surguladze the Minister for Diasporas, Alexi Petriashvili the Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integrations, Paata Zakareishvili the Minister for Reintegration.

Ministers for finances, environment, education, energy, economy and refugees remain vacant.
Revaz Shavishvili has become the head of the State Audit Service, Nodar Javakhishvili the President of the National Bank, Archil Kbilashvili the Prosecutor General, David Usupashvili the Speaker of Parliament with Manana Kobakhidze, Zviad Dzindziguri and Zurab Abashidze as Deputy Speakers.
