Moldova's judge appointed to European court

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) on October 2 decided to appoint Valeriu Gritco as Moldova's judge to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

Moldovan Justice Minister Oleg Efrim said that Valeriu Gritco's candidacy was backed by 112 PACE deputies for a nine-year mandate.
