Bulgaria's motor car exports up by 65% in 2009-2011

The majority of EU Member States showed a considerable increase of motor cars exports between 2009 and 2011: exports grew particularly fast in Cyprus and Bulgaria, although their shares remain of minor importance, according to Eurostat data.

Exports of motor cars in the period 2009-2011 went up by 94% in Cyprus and by 65% in Bulgaria.

According to the EU's statistical office, Bulgaria exported motor cars worth around EUR 36.4 M while the exports of motor cars of the EU27 amounted to EUR 93.8 B.
