Sudak will celebrate the 1800 anniversary with Carnival of fireworks

On September 21, 2012 the official celebration of the 1800th anniversary of the town of Sudak will start and will last for two days, the City Council press service reports. On the celebration’s programme are theatre plays, entertainment shows, performances of popular artists.

Special guests of the festival will be music band «Arthur Berkut» (ex-vocalist of the «Aria» band) and music stars of the 1980’s - the «Ottawan» rock-group from France. Besides, the first Carnival of fireworks in Sudak will be held during the festivities.

It was reported that Ukrainian Post has issued a special postage stamp on the occasion of the 1800th anniversary of Sudak.
