Red Bridge recognized as national monument of Georgia

The Red Bridge located on the Georgian-Azerbaijani border has been recognized as a monument of national importance by a Presidential Decree of September 13, Trend reports.

The decree has already come into force.

The Red Bridge was built in the XVII century on the River Khrami, on the road between Tbilisi and Ganja. The bridge was named "red" after the red brick it had been built from.
