Lufthansa flights canceled in Bucharest as cabin crew strike hits airline

Lufthansa flights to and from Bucharest going to, or arriving from Munich and Frankfurt, scheduled for Friday (September 7) were canceled due to the strike at the airline. Passengers were re-directed to flights of other airlines, according to Bucharest Otopeni airport.

The airline, which is facing a 24-hour strike of all its cabin crew, will offer accommodation, food and beverages for passengers for whom it was not possible to find a flight with another airline. Passengers cannot ask for the refund on their tickets, as the strike is considered a force majeure event.
