Ski paradise Bansko will not raise prices

In the new winter season, which will open on December 14, Bulgarian ski paradise Bansko will not increase its prices from last year, tourism representative Janka Rahova reported.

Although the costs are increasing, the ski resort can not afford to raise prices, Rahova noted.

According to information by her, early bookings will provide tourists with a discount of 10-15%.

In addition, in recent years, the tour operators of the Balkan countries cooperate to send larger groups for longer stays, which is also greatly reducing the income of the resort. Groups of 40-50 people pay about 40% less than the cost of the reception, she said.

According to the National Statistics Institute, Bulgaria made almost EUR 417 million revenue from the past winter tourism season, which represented a 4.9% year-on-year increase.
