Qatar ready to invest in Bulgarian agriculture

The Ambassador of Qatar to Sofia Mohammed Ali Said Al Nuaimi voiced his country’s ambitions for massive cooperation with Bulgaria in the agriculture field.

After a meeting with the Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Dimitar Grekov, Ambassador Nuaimi said that the authorities in Qatar have serious investment intentions for launching strategic projects with Bulgaria. This could enable Qatar to step in the European markets.

On the other hand, Bulgaria will have serious presence on the markets in the Middle East and Asia, said the Ambassador of Quatar. Minister Grekov said that Bulgaria has traditions and good experience in the stock-breeding and the plant-growing field which is a good fundament for future joint projects.
