Investments in Bulgaria down by 80% in three years

In the last three years alone investments in Bulgaria have gone down by 79%, while foreign investments – 6.5 times, said the Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association Bojidar Danev for the bTV channel.

In the course of 2012 the leakage of capitals from Bulgaria to neighboring countries has increased by 60%. According to Bojidar Danev it is inadmissible within three years the country to go down from the 38th place to 53rd of the international rank list on competitiveness, among countries which are also in crisis. For him the reason for this phenomenon is in the «good» rule of the country.
