Danger of floods in Northern Bulgaria

The Ministry of the Environment and Waters warns that as a result of the expected intensive rainfalls water levels in the rivers across the country are to rise tonight.

In the next 2-3 days local floods are possible, especially in the northern parts of the country. The Ministry has sent out a warning for alert and attention to the operational units of Civil Defense, Watering Systems Company and district administration.
