Rainy weather forecast in Moldova for next seven days

The State Hydro-Meteorological Service has forecast rainy weather and an air temperature of up to +27 degrees Celsius on 1-7 June.

The first deputy director of the service, Elinei Pleşca, said thunderstorms and hail are expected on 1 June. The air temperature will oscillate between +9 and +14 degrees during the night and between +17 and +22 degrees during the day.

Light to moderate rains are expected to fall on 2-5 June. Hail and thunderstorms are also forecast. No precipitation is expected on 6-7 June.

The night-air temperature will vary between +9 and +15 degrees.

The day-time air temperature will oscillate between +20 and +25 degrees on 2-5 June and between +22 and + 27 degrees on 6-7 June.

According to State Hydro-Meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2012/ on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +34.4 degrees Celsius on 31 May 1969 and the lowest +3.2 degrees Celsius on 31 May 1937.
