The development of the existing terminals at Taman ports is hindered by the absence of the approved heads of checkpoints and stationed border control points at Taman sea border checkpoint, IAA PortNews learnt from the Association of Maritime and Forwarding Agencies (South of Russia, URAMA).

In this situation, the agents have to deliver border guards every day port Kavkaz some 80 km from Taman for implementation of border procedures including customs inward and outward procedures.
