Bulgaria expects a rise in the Russian tourists’ numbers in 2013

Stoyan Marinov, associate professor from Varna Chamber of Tourism, believes that there will 18% rise in the number of Russian tourists, visiting Bulgaria in the coming season.

According to him, the growth in the number of visitors from Russia started in 2012.

Besides huge numbers of Russian tourists, Bulgaria hosts an increasing number of guests from Ukraine, and there will be a minor rise in the number of tourists from Poland, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, NewsBG informs.

According to Marinov, the largest number of guests comes from Germany – 35% from the total number. Romanian tourists are ranked second, Russians – third, and British guests are fourth. They are followed by Poles, Slovaks, and Scandinavians.
