Bulgarians buy mainly foreign foods

Barely 7 – 9 percent of the foods that Bulgarians buy are produced in country, the Made in Bulgaria Union alarms.

The organization also rings the bell on the total lack of any state policy to small and medium-sized business, as well as for the abuse of market position of foreign retail chain stores. Business representatives will meet due to all this on April 18 with caretaker PM Marin Raikov and will propose 10 main directions for the resurgence of Bulgarian production.
