Rotterdam Port wants to cooperate with Romanian Constanta

On April 4 the Romanian Minister of Transport Relu Fenechiu met with Roger Clasquin, Manager of the Rotterdam International Port, and Ronald Voogt, Project Manager.

Representatives of the Rotterdam Port proposed to continue the cooperation on the Constanta Port development, commenced in the framework of memorandum 2011. The cooperation is based on the interest of investors to the Constanta Port, wishing to get the level of servicing there, analogous to the one they get at Rotterdam Port.

The Dutch party noted that «nothing specific, provided for by the Memorandum 2011, has been done by now», and declared its ability to help Romanian authorities at all stages of the Constanta Port development Master plan, or to participate financially in the future projects.

The Minister of Transport Fenechiu proposed to create a working group, which would, within a week, present the strategy and plan for cooperation between two organizations, Cuget Liber S.A. informs.
