NATO approves Georgian Annual National Program

The NATO has approved the Annual National Program (ANP) of Georgia for 2013 at a session of the NATO-Georgia commission in Brussels, attended by deputy ministers, Trend reports.

The program was presented by David Dondua, Georgian Deputy State Minister for Integration in European and Euro-Atlantic Structures. Georgian deputy minister for corrections and legal assistance attended the talks.

The Georgian State Commission for Integration in the NATO approved the program on March 1.

According to a NATO summit in Bucharest in April 2008, Georgia and Ukraine confirmed readiness to join the alliance. The ANP includes a detailed action plan.
