41st National Assembly was dismissed

Bulgaria’s Parliament conducted its last sitting on March 14, 2013 and ended its mandate before its term. Chairperson Tsetska Tsacheva said that this parliament is leaving because of people’s anger.

The Left Coalition for Bulgaria pointed out this was the weakest parliament in the history of this country after 1989. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms pointed out that Bulgaria is in need of a truly democratic rule and that the way out of the crisis is not in the capacity of a single party but needs the potential of the entire nation. The statement of the Right Blue Coalition accused the ruling of having remained senseless to the problems of the people and having caused a social crisis by allowing an unjust distribution of the burden over the young, the retired, those who have lost their jobs and the socially disadvantaged people.
