Georgians have problems getting visas to visit Russia

Russian Chief Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko said that only one Georgian wine-maker managed to send samples of its products to Russia, others failed due to problems with visas, RIA Novosti reports.

One company sent samples of 24 types of wine.

The Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare is forming lists of companies the second Russian inspection will visit. 19 more companies were added for inspection. About 90 Georgian manufacturers offered exports of products to Russia. 40 of them were permitted to register wine, cognac and mineral water in Russia.
