Over 31 million tourists visited Turkey in 2012

According to Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of tourists who visited Turkey in 2012, has increased by 1.04% compared to 2011, having reached 31.8 million.

Last December, 1.3 million tourists came to Turkey for rest, which is 12.4% more than in December 2011. Among the tourists that visited Turkey in last December, 1.7% were transit travellers.
