Bulgarian business owes over EUR 2 bln.

The overall indebtedness of business in Bulgaria was EUR 2.5 bln. in 2012, compared to the previous year, Deputy Chair of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce Kamen Kolev voiced to the BNR.

In his words the debts of the state /17 – 18 percent of GDP/ contrast to an excessive indebtedness of the corporate sector, amounting to more than 200 percent of GDP. However, Kolev talked on an optimistic trend too – the pace of corporate indebtedness has begun to slow down and the GDP growth, no matter how minimal, is already bigger than the one of debts.
