PM reiterates Moldova's priorities for 2013

Prime Minister Vlad Filat on January 2 reiterated the important goals that Moldova is going to achieve in 2013.

Filat said «the year 2013 is expected to be a year when the actions undertaken by the entire society are to have concrete results». «It is about signing of an association agreement and deep and comprehensive free trade agreement with the EU», Filat noted. He added that the actions related to the liberalization of visa regime with the EU should be completed.

Filat also mentioned the completion of «some reforms focused on functionality of the state institutions, that means benefits for citizens». He also referred to «a string of important investment projects in the road infrastructure, agriculture and healthcare sectors».

In the context, Filat highlighted the declaration of the year 2013 as European Year of Citizen, noting that the European integration process should not be only a concern of elites, but «of each citizen mandatory».
