Kulevi SOCAR terminal starts working after strike

The strike at the oil terminal of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in the Georgian town of Kulevi has been ended and work resumed.

The SOCAR Energy Georgia company, representing the interests of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan to Georgia, said that the leadership of the oil terminal met with the strike committee. The parties decided to reopen the terminal, Trend reports.

The terminal in the Georgian town of Kulevi was put into operation in May of 2008. The total capacity of the terminal is 10 million tons of oil per year, including three million tons of oil, three million tons of diesel fuel and four million tons of fuel oil.
