Nearly 400 towns and villages in 11 regions in Ukraine left without electricity

Rescuers are trying to restore electricity supply in 371 towns and villages in 11 regions in Ukraine, the press service of the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Ministry has reported.

According to the ministry, as of 07.00 on December 17, 371 towns and villages in 11 regions were left without electricity because of adverse weather conditions (strong winds and glazed frost).

A total of 129 towns and villages were left without electricity in Kyiv region, 48 in Ternopil region, 24 in Rivne region, 46 in Zhytomyr region, 23 in Chernivtsi region, seven in Volyn region, 15 in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 45 in Lviv region, seven in Vinnytsia region, 23 in Khmelnytsky region, and four in Kirovohrad region.
