Joint venture for Danube Bridge 2 management with head office in Vidin, Bulgaria

Bulgaria and Romania are expected to reach official consensus on the location in the Bulgarian town of Vidin of the head offices of the joint venture for the management of Danube Bridge 2, Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Ivaylo Moskovski said.

The Bulgarian-Romanian company is going to manage the transport infrastructure as public property of the two countries. On October 24, as the two prime ministers and the EU commissioner for regional policy met for a joint visit of the facility, the Romanian prime minister confirmed that the Council of Ministers had approved a mandate for the negotiating team on the Romanian side.

In addition he said that the Romanian side agreed to a Bulgarian location of the head office of the future joint venture, Minister Moskovski recalled.
