President Plevneliev stands for policies attracting Bulgarians back home

In a lecture for the Atlantic Club in Bulgaria on issues of national security, President Rossen Plevneliev said that the negative demographic image of this country is a serious problem for institutions.

According to the head of state, policies should be worked out that would bring emigrant Bulgarians back home as well as attract competent persons from other countries. All adequate measures for stimulating birth rate should be taken, the President further said.

Among the challenges for national security the Head of State pointed to the diversification of energy resources. According to Rossen Plevneliev the goals related to security and national priorities should be planned not only up to 2020 but further ahead.
