Rospotrebnadzor rejects Moldovan apple consognment

The Russian Federal Service on Customers’ Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Surveillance (RosPotrebNadzor) rejected on November 19 a consignment of apples imported from Moldova.

According to the RosPotrebNadzor, the consignment of 19 tons of apples, due to be delivered to TOO Kaz Agro Food in the town Actobe, was stopped at the international automobile border checkpoint Troebortnoe.

During the quarantine phytosanitary control of the production, specialists of the RosSelKhozNadzor found a fake certificate among the accompanying documents of the supplied goods. For this reason, the entire consignment was returned to the exporting company.

As already reported by Infotag, last week over 100 Moldovan trucks with fruit and vegetables, due to be delivered to the Russian Federation, were stuck at the cargo terminal in Bryansk, because of some technical problems and because of the infringements committed by exporters, who tried to ship to the Russian Federation a consignment of contraband alcoholic beverages.

As many as 192 Moldovan companies are entitled to ship their goods to the Russian Federation.
