Bulgaria’s major problem is demographic crisis, World Bank says

The demographic crisis is the most serious problem that Bulgaria faces, World Bank Country Director for Central Europe and the Baltic Countries, Mr. Peter Harrold, said.

Mr. Harrold pointed out that Bulgaria was dealing well with the world crisis, preserving GDP growth and keeping good fiscal discipline. Serious problems that Bulgaria faces are unstable foreign economic factors, the need of more innovations, and energy efficiency, he added.
