Russian border guards will receive the Horizon Air S-100 air complex assembled in Rostov-on-Don. Components for the system were provided by Schiebel (Austria), LifeNews reports.

Each complex consisting of two helicopter drones and controls cost about 100-200 million rubles.
Two drones will arrive to the Black Sea coastal guards in November and the same systems will arrive to Kamchatka and Primoriye next year.

Horizon is used for scouting, protection of borders, rescue operations. It is based on ships. It has been tested by the Rubin coastal ship. The drone was used during the Kavkaz-2012 military drills.
