Georgian National Bank predicts 7% economic growth

The president of the National Bank of Georgia, Georgy Kadagidze, has stated on October 22 that economic growth will be around 7% this year.

Kadagidze claims that, despite political processes, the country will not experience economic fluctuations.

According to preliminary data of the Georgian Statistics agency, GDP growth in the first and second quarters of 2012 was 6.8% and 8.2%, while it was 7.3% in the third quarter.
