Istanbul Chamber of Commerce signed a visa facilitation agreement with Dutch Consulate General

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) signed on September 13 a visa facilitation agreement with the to ease problems regarding Schengen visa.

Schengen visa is one of the biggest obstacles in front of Turkish businessmen making business with European countries.

Speaking at the ceremony of the agreement, ITO Executive Board Chairman Murat Yalcintas said, «With this agreement, our members will receive a certificate from us and then after consulate general does its own research they will get a multi entrance one to five years business visa.»

Yalcintas also added that Turkey is one of Holland's most popular destinations for investments and said that the ease on gaining visas carries such importance.

More, Dutch Consul General Onno Kervers said that the economic relations between Turkey and Holland rapidly improve and said that between 2001 and 2011 the bilateral trade volume rose to 6 billion USD from 2 billion USD.

Kervers, added that by signing this agreement, relations and the trade between both countries will grow.
