Gabala hosts Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey business forum

Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey business forum has kicked off in Gabala.

APA reports that Azerbaijani Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev opened the forum at Qafqaz Resort Hotel.

He spoke about economic relations among the countries, importance of the forum. The Minister said that all three countries play an important role in Europe's energy security, significance of the region is increasing and Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia regional cooperation is an example to the world.

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Turkish Economic Minister Zafer Chaglayan, Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci, as well as more than 250 businessmen from different spheres of economy are attending the forum. Prospects for enhancing economic cooperation and relations are being discussed at the business-forum.

Presentations on the economies of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia, business and investment opportunities of these countries will be held, bilateral meetings will be organized among the businessmen.

Earlier, trilateral business forum among Azerbaijan, Turkey and Georgia was held in Tbilisi and Kars. The next forum will be held in Batumi.
