AR Crimea Supreme Council approves abolition of representative mission in Moscow

The decision was made at a plenary session of the Crimean parliament on February 20.

The AR Crimea Minister of Resorts and Tourism Mr. Alexander Liev said that the mission was abolished in order to decrease budget expenditures: «We were spending 1.3 million hrivnas per year on the maintenance of this mission. We’ve analysed the mission’s work, and its low efficiency has become apparent. Instead, we will open seven resort and tourist offices in Russia.»

The Minister also noted that they planned to open a total of about 20 such offices in Ukraine and the CIS countries. The first Crimea’s resort and information Office was opened on February 7 in Riga, Latvia.
