Bulgaria’s export for other EU countries has gone down by 3.1% in 2012

In the period January-November 2012 Bulgaria’s export for other EU countries has gone down by 3.1 percent on the same period of the preceding year and amounts to EUR 11 billion, the National Statistical Institute informs.

Bulgaria’s major trade partners are Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France, Belgium and Spain forming 75.5 percent of the export. On the other hand import from EU countries for the period January-November 2012 has increased by 8.9 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Most goods Bulgaria imports from Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece and Spain. The foreign trade balance (export FOB – import CIF) between Bulgaria and the EU for the considered period is negative and amounts to EUR 3 million.
