Georgian Government to invest funds into relics of the past protection

Ivanishvili Government intends to invest quite serious funds into protection of the cultural heritage monuments, including the church ones, Georgia on-line reports. Georgian Prime-Minister has announced this information in his interview to Armenian media during his trip to Erevan.

According to Ivanishvili, as many investors as possible must be attracted to protect monuments of culture and architecture. He believes that this activity should be financed both from the budget and private sources.

He has also referred to the Armenian monuments at the Georgian territory and noted that this topic needs no additional discussions and arguments, because they need preservation due to their spiritual and economic potential and opportunities.
