New Moldovan deputy interior minister appointed

The Moldovan government on December 26 appointed Ion Bodrug to serve as interior deputy minister.

The suggestion was made by Interior Minister Dorin Recean. According to him, Bodrug «has the necessary experience to help the ministry implement the reform».

So far, Bodrug served as a deputy head of the ministry's Police Department.

A position of deputy prime minister was left vacant in late October 2012, after Valeriu Ciobanu resigned after almost three months from his investiture.
